👅 Sick Days
Hello you lot!
I've Just called in sick.
Why?
Chicken pox. At 42 years of age I should have tried something else. The problem is I used
sickness and diarrhea December and I had the 'flu' in January.
Oh well, self certified for a week. Hate my job anyway. Actually I hate working full stop.
Lazy? Not really, I'm dedicated to my wife and family, my hobbies and friends. Work is just
that painful thorn in my side that must stay in there until I am a very old man. Sad isn't it?!
Never mind that though, whats the best 'sick day' excuse you have ever heard? I would love
to hear from you as it always amazing me what people use to get that lovely free day of
paid, lazy bliss...
Here's a few beauties from some of my work places over the years:
- I've locked myself inside my house.
- The cat has eaten the parrot.
- My girlfriend has just got back with me.
- It took three flushes to get rid of a poo I did, I'm off to the doctor.
- I had a nightmare that has left me too scared to leave the house.
- I forgot to go to bed last night.
- I got on the wrong train, fell asleep and am now in London (the guy works in Wolverhampton)
That's it from me as it is my first post and am just getting used to it all.
